- I keep receiving the "bad CRC" messages whenever I try to download some files
- from a Unix workstation (Sun Sparc 20). The modem (Motorola v3400) stops
- receiving data for 10 sec right after the "bad CRC", and it starts again.
- I have no idea which component(s) causes this problem but I really hope this is
- correctable. Here is the configuration of remote/local site...
-
- Remote: Sun Sparc 20 (using sz command), the modem pools consist either
- USR Sportstor or MutiTech...
-
- Local: 486/33 clone with Motorola v3400 modem and a serial card w/o 16650
- UART chip and Telix 3.22.
-
- The problem is when I issue ....
-
- sz * <------ Lots bad CRC/subdatapack too long....
- sz -w 2048 * <---- fewer bad CRC (the -w is for window size)
-
- I don't this is the hardware problem but I'm sure....
-
- I'll be greately appreciated if someone could help. Thanks in advance.
